Who We Are

 Our goal is to offer lifetime sanctuary and rescue to horses that would otherwise be auction or slaughterhouse bound. 

Founded in 2009, we are an all-volunteer, nonprofit public charity 501c3 dedicated to horse rescue and sanctuary located in Sonoma County, Northern California. 

Our Board of Directors is a diverse group of businesswomen and horse owners who have accumulated many years of experience in the skills necessary to properly care for horses, so that they are healthy and psychologically well adjusted. We excel in the specialized care of horses that have been neglected, abused and/or abandoned. 

As part of our mission, we inform and educate the public about the plight of these horses, through tours and day camp programs for the community. We stress special consideration for underprivileged children and teens. We also offer youngsters the opportunity to complete their community service requirements in their schooling.
